Painted in 1988 by Greg Garand of Toronto, ON, at 31 West Main Street, 64' X 15'.
The mural depicts a ship passing through the city at dusk, after the city has calmed from the day. Ships used to go through heart of downtown Welland before the Welland Canal By-Pass was completed in 1973.
The mural was removed by the property owner at some point due to water issues with the wall it adorned.
