Painted in 1988 by Brian Romagnoli of Lincoln, ON, at 176 King Street (formerly Conlin Engineering building), 28' X 31'.

The mural places the viewers back in 1824 and portrays the three elements of canal building; man, horsepower, and machine power.

The mural was removed when the building was renovated and the painting was replaced with balconies. The owner provided the Welland Museum with a piece from the mural to keep in its archives.
