Newspaper clipping about Steve Bauer who jammed Belgian cyclist Claude Criquielion into a roadside fence, denying the Belgian the victory at the World Cycling Championships. The Italian Maurizio Fondriest won the race. Steve Bauer was disqualified from the race for the incident. Claude Criquielion sued Bauer for $1.5 in damages but a few years later a Belgian court ruled in favour of Steve Bauer. A video of the incident is linked below.
