Newspaper clipping from the Welland Tribune, c. 1959, showing the NS&T (Niagara, St. Catharines and Toronto) train leaving Port Colborne for Thorold. The last run for the NS&T was March 28, 1959, and it was the last interurban electric railway operating in Canada.

The captioned text reads: "At Port Colborne, southern terminus of the line, fans snap pictures before cars start their return trip to Thorold. The NS&T was Canada's last passenger-carrying interurban."
