Arthur B. Damude was County Warden, with the following councillors: Alfred Merryweather, Alvin J. Babion, Arthur J. Snider, Caleton F. Monroe, Charles Fegan, Ernest R. Ott, Frank Clark, Frank Heximer, Frank Schier, Garnet Biggar, George Liddycoat, George T. Richings, George W. Hay, Hartley Horton, Jesse G. Morningstar, John Barron, John H. Atwood, John More, John R. Phillips, Louis Douglas, Otto Lambert, Patrick F. Ryan, Raymond P. Barrick, Roland F. Booth, Wallace L. Near, William A. Lewis, and Wilson Kline.
It contains six sessions: January 25-28, March 15, April 5-8, May 31-June 16, September 22-23, and December 6-8.
The meetings were held at the Welland County Courthouse.
Welland County was the precursor to today's Niagara Regional government (Niagara was composed of Lincoln County and Welland County from 1856-1969).
In the minutes will be found historical decisions being made on subjects such as schools/education, bridges, public buildings, tax assessments, creation of by-laws, and more.
