Alfred G. Willson was County Warden, with the following councillors: Alvin J. Babion, Charles E. Steele, Donald Dell, Dr. T. E. Watson, George T. Richings, H. W. Tufts, Harry D. Rice, Herbert Garner, Horace Gray, J. W. Barnhardt, James C. Baker, James Henderson, John C. Sloat, John Hill, John W. Shriner, Orlin McKenney, Patrick F. Ryan, S. A. Thomas, W.H. Crowther, William A. Lewis, William J. Somerville, William L. Horton, William M. Hogg, William Munro, and William Trayner.
It contains five sessions: January 24-30, March 29-30, May 5, June 6-9, and December 5-8.
The meetings were held at the Welland County Courthouse.
Welland County was the precursor to today's Niagara Regional government (Niagara was composed of Lincoln County and Welland County from 1856-1969).
In the minutes will be found historical decisions being made on subjects such as schools/education, bridges, public buildings, tax assessments, creation of by-laws, and more.
