Text reads:

of Crowland, was born on the farm on which he resides at the present time: His father was the late John Henderson, a native of Scotland, who came to this country in the year 1840 and settled in Crowland, where he was a successful farmer. Mr. Henderson has served his township for two years as councillor, also one year as reeve and last December was elected by acclamation as County Commissoner for District No. 3. He is a regular attendant of Crowland Presbyterian church and a Liberal in politics.
