Description:Two black and white photographs of guests at the head table at the Runge-Maglie sports celebrity dinner, at the Knights of Columbus Hall. From T.N. Morrison's personal collection, former editor of the Welland Tribune. The ceremony jointly honored Sal Maglie and Ed Runge, two of the most influential individuals in Welland sports history.
Also included in the files is a microfilm copy of the accompanying article from the October 2, 1962 edition of the Welland Tribune.

Description:11 digital colour photographs of the S.S. Keewatin from April 28, 2023, the day it traversed though the Welland Canal toward Hamilton for repairs, until it will eventually end up at Kingston where it will function as a museum by 2024.
It's maiden voyage was in 1907 and it served in the Great Lakes until it was decommissioned in 1965, and it's currently one of the last Edwardian-era ships in existence. [show more]
