Description:Three black and white photographs and one program from the 50th Anniversary dinner of the Ontario Paper Company (later known as the Quebec and Ontario Paper Company) of Thorold, July 27, 1963. The dinner took place at the Sheraton-Brock Hotel, now known as Crowne Plaza Niagara Falls-Fallsview. The first photograph shows the Mary Schmon singers performing. The second photograph shows Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Ontario Paper Company Arthur A. Schmon speaking. The third photograph shows J. Howard Wood, President of the Tribune Company and publisher of the Chicago Tribune, thanking the Honourable W. Earl Rowe Lieutenant Governor of Ontario (seated). The final three images are from the program for that nights events. The Ontario Paper Company were newsprint specialists, with half of their production supplying the newspapers of the Tribune group.
