Charles Treble was County Warden, with the following councillors: Alexander Lattimore, Anson Garner, Edward Lee, Edwin F. Hershey, Elmon A. Dickout, Henry Hansler, Hiram Bender, James Price, James Smith, Jesse Zavitz, John Bartle, John Gainer, John Henderson, John McDonaugh, Joseph Garner, Stephen Beatty, Thomas Scholfield, William Mellanby, and William Reavely. It contains four sessions: January 27 & February 3-5, June 1-6, September 5, and December 21-24. The meetings were held at the Welland County Courthouse. Welland County was the precursor to today's Niagara Regional government (Niagara was composed of Lincoln County and Welland County from 1856-1969).
