Extra information on the back of the photo states the building on the left was a driving shed and horse stable, and the building on the right was a warehouse.
The photo is labeled as 1919, but there is an obituary for a Frank Pitts who owned a clothing store in a 1906 edition of the Welland Tribune, and the photo also appears older than 1919, so the date may be sometime before 1906.
