Black and white photograph showing the Alexandra Bridge decorated for the Firemen's Convention, August 1-3, 1910. A pedestrian walk can be seen on the right, which was added to the bridge sometime between 1904 (when the bridge opened) and 1910.
The notice sign says: 'Notice! Any person riding or driving on or over this bridge faster than a walk will be find according to law. No person will be allowed to enter upon it when in motion or about to be turned.'
