George Wells, Fireman c. 1927

George Wells

Two halftone reproductions of black and white photographs from the same session of George Wells posing at a desk, c. 1927, and captioned that he was "one of the Old Boys." The first picture has an inset of him taken in 1868. He was a well known figure with Welland's Fire Department, starting with them around 1889, and he was born in 1854 and died in 1941.
