Description:Black and white photograph of four men next to journalism equipment at Niagara College. Larry Smith, the former managing editor of the St. Catharines Standard, had just retired in May. A $1,500 surplus from his retirement dinner was given to Niagara College to establish a scholarship in the college's print-journalism program.
