From left to right: G.H. Hamilton, Mary Alvin, Reeve Hugh Summers, and county Warden Claude Brewster.
Included in the files is the program for the event. The Welland County Library Board members at the time were Chairman G.H. Hamilton, G. Broadley, W.F. Lewis, J. Shoalts, C. Brewster, Mrs. M.J. McInnis, H. Summers, and Secretary-Treasurer Mary Alvin. The Building Committee consisted of Chairman H. Summers, G. Broadley, G.H. Hamilton, and J. Shoalts. The architect was D.N. Chapman, and it was built by W. Benson & Son. Claude Brewster the Warden of Welland County laid the cornerstone.
